Scientifically known as Citrus aurantium, are a type of citrus used primarily in adding flavor to dishes as they have particularly strong and aromatic zest and very sour juice. Used to make marmalades, seasoning meats and even salad dressings. This type of orange is loaded with seeds and has a thick rind.
